What to Expect…

We meet every Sunday from 11:00am - 12:45pm and we’d love for you to join us! There are no books, or special standing or sitting to follow, just come in, sit down and relax. You will find most people will stand to sing, but don’t feel pressured to join in if you don’t know the words! To help everyone the words of the songs appear on the screens at the front of the hall. You will see people put their hands in the air and get enthusiastic about Jesus, but please remember you are free to do as you wish.

After the worship time the children have their own fun sessions with the children’s leaders in their own rooms upstairs (more details about our kids facilities is below).

The rest of us still in the main hall then have someone speak to us for a while (a word from God), often including stories, film clips etc and we all join up again at 12.30/45 for tea or coffee in The Hub.

Children & Youth

Families with children and young people are very welcome at Kingdom Faith Yorkshire and we have different age groups running during the service designed to help your little ones learn more about God and have a great time too!

Little Builders
(Ages 0 - 3)

We have a great creche area for babies and children up to 3 years old. The room is next to the Main Hall and has though windows and an audio link so that you can see and hear what is happening. The creche is not staffed, so parents do have to look after their own children, although you will be able to share the caring with our other friendly parents who you will meet in the creche with their young ones. We can easily help you to get to know the other parents so that you can take it in turns to look after each other’s children so that some can remain in the Main Hall.

J24/:7
(Ages 3 - School Year 7)

J24/:7 is living Jesus 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Time to discover the fun and adventure of following Jesus filled with the Holy Spirit. Every week is fun and different! Juliette and her team will be waiting for you. The children’s team will bring your children back down to the main hall after their meeting.

Ignite
(School Year 7 and up, meeting fortnightly)

Something different for this age group! Meeting in The Den during the Sunday meeting. Have fun, think hard, be ignited in your passion for Jesus or discover more about him! The team can't wait to meet you.

Emergencies: Please take note that if there was an emergency evacuation of the building the children’s teams will get your children out of the building safely and take them to the main assembly point opposite the Royal Hotel in St Nicholas Street, next to the statue of Queen Victoria. Please do not try to go and get your children or you will be blocking the escape routes. Thank you.

Parking & Directions

Parking can be found on nearby streets, although you will need a free parking disk which we can give you, or for greater ease there are various pay to use car parks nearby such as the Brunswick Car Park, Palm Court Hotel Car Park, St Thomas Street Car Park, King Street Car Park or meter parking in front of the Grand Hotel. If it’s your first time we’d recommend getting to Scarborough by about 10.20 to give you time to sort parking etc.
